Organized Crime takes control over Brazil

Those are difficult times. According to Noam Chomsky today's economy and politics are rulled by those who speculate with other peoples money. They became very rich and finance the political campaigns around the Globe so that the laws can be made to benefit them. 

Brazil, far from being an exception, is an exemple: bankers, stock holders and megainvestors finance political campaigns to all public houses in the Nation so that the laws keep benefiting them. It was a time when capitalism was a problem: exploitation of overworking, 7 working days each and extremelly low salaries among other "benefits". Now the problem became worst: Very small quantity of people concentrates all the money produced by all and uses it in it's own benefit.

 If today's capitalism is a "Kingdom of heaven" to that small elite composed by former left wínged politicians, bankers and stock holders, to the huge majority of the people "hell" is a very kind word to express what is going on around: Public Health pays about U$ 1,20 to each patient they attend, Public Schools pays about U$ 0,30 for each class a teacher works and, as a result, epidemics are back and analphabetism reaches levels above any other time in this country: more than 40% of brazilian people can't even read or right according to UNESCO's avaluation. Unemployment rates - wich doesn't consider all unemployed in the country because this would look bad to us - according to IBGE reaches about 15%. Fortunatelly IWO - International Work Organization, based in Switzerland, made another avaluation and noticed that unemployment in today's Brazil is above 30% of people abble to work.

 As long as bankers, corrupt politicians, stock holders and people like that make the rules and laws of this nation, there is little hope for democracy or social justice.

 This book brings some statistics and factual data in order to prove our thesis.
