Descrição original do desenvolvedor: "Contemporary sans serif design, Arial contains more humanist characteristics than many of its predecessors and as such is more in tune with the mood of the last decades of the twentieth century. The overall treatment of curves is softer and fuller than in most industrial style sans serif faces. Terminal strokes are cut on the diagonal which helps to give the face a less mechanical appearance. Arial is an extremely versatile family of typefaces which can be used with equal success for text setting in reports, presentations, magazines etc, and for display use in newspapers, advertising and promotions."

Como instalar fontes:

Clicando no botão de download, você vai salvar ou abrir o arquivo linkin.zip que tem os arquivos TTF linkin_park_2.ttf (Linkin Park).

Dezipe apenas os arquivos com a extensão .tff para a pasta de fontes do sistema (geralmente c:\windows\fonts) ou dezipe-as para uma pasta temporária qualquer e depois vá em

Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME: Botão Iniciar > Painel de Controle > Fontes. Clique no menu arquivo e depois "Instalar nova fonte..." e na janela que segue escolha a pasta onde estão as fontes dezipadas e clique em Instalar.
Windows XP: Botão Iniciar > Painel de Controle > Aparência e Temas > Fontes (no menu lateral em "consulte também". Se não achar o Aparência e Temas você está em modo clássico, e tem um item Fontes direto no Painel de Controle. Clique no menu arquivo e depois "Instalar nova fonte..." e na janela que segue escolha a pasta onde estão as fontes dezipadas e clique em Instalar.
Windows Vista: Abra a pasta temporária onde você dezipou todas as fontes, selecione todos arquivos .ttf que você queira instalar, clique-os com o botão direito do mouse e escolha o item "Instalar"
